Two more U.S. House members have joined Rep. Candice Miller, R-Harrison Township, on the Homeland Security Committee. With the lower chamber’s new GOP majority, she’s now the chair of the Border and Maritime Security.
Serving with her on the full committee will be fellow Republican Rep. Tim Walberg of Tipton and Democrat Rep. Hansen Clarke of Detroit.
Clarke is also serving on the Science, Space and Technology Committee; Walberg is also on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee with freshman Rep. Justin Amash, R-Cascade Township, and the Education and the Workforce Committee with Rep. Dale Kildee, D-Flint, the committee’s second-ranking Democrat
