Holding Wall Street Accountable

I voted against the original bailout of Wall Street because I thought the plan presented was ill conceived and put the American taxpayer on the hook for the bad actions of Wall Street. I also voted against the second round of Wall Street Bailouts because the administration had not presented a clear plan for success and did not offer adequate taxpayer protections.

But now that the plan has become law I will work vigorously to ensure that bad actors in the economy are held accountable and the taxpayers are better protected to ensure that we can get our economy moving again.
